Sardines pastels

Hello family, here it is again today I represent you this pastels that I often like to make at home, it is really delicious.

For the Dough:

3 and ½ cups of flour or as needed
2 teaspoons of baker’s yeast
½ cup of lukewarm water
½ cup of lukewarm milk
¼ cup of sugar
1/3 cup butter or melted margarine
1 teaspoon of salt
1 egg
For the stuffing

3 cans of sardines

1 onion, minced

4 garlic cloves, chopped

Parsley and basil

Salt, pepper and chili to taste


In a small bowl, dissolve the yeast in lukewarm water with a little sugar and set aside.
In a large bowl, combine the milk, sugar, melted butter, salt and egg.
Add the flour and mix until smooth. Add the yeast mixture.
Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface for 5 to 10 minutes. Place in a well greased bowl, cover and let rise until doubled in volume.
Flatten the dough into a small circle
Make the stuffing, heating the oil from the cans of sardines, put onion, garlic, parsley and basil in them. Add the crumbled fish and a little water. Cook completely.

put the stuffing in it closed with a fork.

Fry until golden brown.

Serve with chilli.
