It’s notable that a few months prior the Federal government had announced lockdown and interstate restriction on residents so as to facilitate the spread of Covid-19. In any case, it is a great idea to hear that the Lockdown has been ease.
But why can’t we think about the spread of the virus even when there is lockdown, how will it be when there is no lockdown.

President Muhammadu Buhari who is the Commander in Chief of the Nigerian Armed Forces, made a broadcast on the democracy day approving the ease of lock down. Before then, president Muhammad Buhari related to the government has vested forces on the state governments to choose when to lift lockdown in their different states. For example, restrictions on worship places ( church and mosques) have been lifted by the government, yet a few states like Lagos didn’t consent to the choice of national government because of the perseverance increment in the number of affected persons in their state.
Taking a gander at this, some state governors have chosen to enforce another lockdown in their states, irrespective of the fact that the federal government had officially relaxed lockdown in the recent democracy day.
Rivers State Governor Nyesom Ezenwo Wike has imposed a ban on the closure of Bonny and Onne counties in Eleme Local Government Area as of Sunday, June 21, 2020, to monitor the outbreak of leukemia in the state.
State residents prepare for state shutdown programs if the disease continues to increase.
As a result, all residents of Bonny and Onne counties, with the exception of those in critical and dedicated services who must remain at home.

The total confirmed cases of coronavirus in Nigeria has now increased to 19,808 as at Saturday, 20th of June after the new cases has been announced.
