Shatta Wale reveals his current top five female artists in Ghana
Ghanaian Dancehall artiste, Charles Nii Armah Mensah popularly known as Shatta Wale has revealed his top five female artists in the country.
Shatta Wale hailed the competition amongst the female artists in the country and urged them to be more confident in their dealings.
The ‘Borjor’ hitmaker named Wendy Shay, the sensational female artist who has been in the news recently for walking out of an interview after been asked about her relationship with Bullet who is her manager his best female artist.
Wendy Shay who recently celebrated her second anniversary in the creative sector has been a huge name in the entertainment industry with back to back hit songs.
“I will choose Wendy Shay, Eno, Sista Afia, Efya, Becca, and add Adina Thembi as the bonus package,” Shatta Wale said in an interview with Nana Ama Mcbrown on United Showbiz in the nation’s capital, Accra.
Wendy Shay won the Best New Artist of the Year at Ghana Music Awards organized by Charterhouse and sponsored by the telecommunications brand, Vodafone in 2019.
Sista Afia’s Jeje is arguably the best song since joining the music industry was blessed by the self-acclaimed dancehall King, Shatta Wale. The song featured Takoradi based singer Afezi Perry and was produced by Willisbeat.
