The Federal Government has lifted the ban on religious houses in Nigeria following the outbreak of COVID-19.

COVID-19: Six Churches Sealed Off In Bayelsa State
Six churches have been shut down in the capital of Bayelsa State, Yenagoa, for flouting the safety guidelines set down by the state government in a bid to curb the spread of the virus.
The churches sealed off by the state government are Shalom International Christian Centre, Living Faith Church, Great Grace Distinguished Assembly, Salvation Victory Centre, Hebrews International Church, and Brotherhood of the Cross and Star. Read more here.
Kano State Eases Lockdown, Lifts Ban On Religious Gatherings
The lockdown measure imposed on Kano State has been eased following the directives set down by the Federal Government on how states can ease the lockdown measures and allow for an ease in the restriction of movement in the country.
According to the Kano State Commissioner for Information, Malam Muhammad Garba, the state government, while easing the lockdown measures, also released guidelines on how residents can navigate the “new normal” in this pandemic period, in a bid to curb the spread of the virus. Read more here.
COVID-19: More Trouble For Lagos As It Records 192 New Cases
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, (NCDC) on Monday night confirmed 192 cases of COVID19 in Lagos as Nigeria’s total hits 10,578.

Coronavirus: Kogi State Gov Imposes Lockdown On Kabba/Bunu Local Government
The Governor of Kogi State, Yahaya Bello, has imposed a lockdown on Kabba/Bunu Local Government Area of the state, after two reported cases of COVID-19.
