What’s Wall Gecko ?

The wall gecko, also known as the common house gecko, is a small, nocturnal lizard with soft skin. It measures up to 15 cm in length, and is usually grey or light brown to beige in colour. 

Most geckos are nocturnal, hiding during the day and foraging for insects at night. They can be seen climbing walls of houses and other buildings in search of insects attracted to porch lights and is immediately recognisable by its characteristic chirping calls.

They grow to a length of between 75–150 mm (3–6 in), and live for about 5 years.


It’s native to south-east Asia, though it’s now found across the world, including large parts of Africa. 

Is Wall Gecko Poisonous ???

Wall Gecko, do not have poison in its body fluid but then, Wall gecko carries numerous bacterias in it’s mouth, making it poisonous to human health especially when it fall into Soup and people consume the soup.
